Spanish Course

Intro to Spanish:

This course presents the study of the Hispanic language and culture. The student performs basic language functions and will become familiar with the culture of various Hispanic countries. The emphasis on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing will be achieved by diversifying the classroom environment whenever possible. Grammar will be integrated throughout the course. The student also gains insight into how languages ​​and cultures work by comparing the target language and culture with their heritage or origin languages ​​and cultures.


Intermediate Spanish:

Students will explore important aspects of various Latin American cultures through projects and mixed media. There will also be a focus on improving grammar, spelling, and accent use with the intention of helping students hone their writing skills. This course is designed to help students think critically and rationally through questions that are typical of Latin American culture and the Latino community in the United States.


Advanced Spanish:

This course was designed to expand and consolidate the student's lexical and grammatical understanding of the Spanish language. The course consists of theory and practice with oral and written exercises. Videos are included to make the understanding of the language used in everyday life more accessible. It also brings students a lot closer to cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world.
