School Nutrition Program

OVERVIEW

We are pleased to inform you that all Acero Schools will continue participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2023-2024 school year. Through the CEP program, all Acero scholars have access to a healthy, well-balanced breakfast and lunch at no cost. No further action is required of parents. All scholars will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

All of our school meals meet nutritional guidelines and requirements as mandated by the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). Although participation in our programs is not mandatory, we do recommend that all parents encourage their child to eat a school breakfast and lunch. Meal menus will be provided to all families each month via the school’s communications and they will also be available on our website.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
