PSAT Testing - 10.16.19
On October 16th, all 9th – 11th grade students will take the PSAT exam and approximately 90 12th grade students have elected to take the SAT. Due to the high-stakes nature of these exams, MAJ Hector P. Garcia High School will be dismissing at all 9th – 12th grade students who do not have extended time testing at 11:30 or when testing completes on Wednesday, October 16th. Students who receive extended time accommodations on testing will be dismissed after their last exam. Bag lunches will be provided to students who wish to take one as they leave the building at 11:30.
All 12th grade students who are not testing do not need to be in attendance on October 16th.
El 16 de octubre, todos los estudiantes de noveno a 11o grado tomarán el examen PSAT y aproximadamente 90 estudiantes de 12o grado han elegido tomar el SAT. Debido a la naturaleza de alto riesgo de estos exámenes, MAJ Héctor P. Garcia High School estará despidiendo en todos los estudiantes de noveno a 12o grado que no tienen pruebas de tiempo extendido a las 11:30 del miércoles 16 de octubre. Los estudiantes que reciban adaptaciones de tiempo prolongado en las pruebas serán despedidos después de su último examen. Se proporcionarán almuerzos de equipaje a los estudiantes.
Todos los estudiantes de 12o grado que no están probando no necesitan estar presentes el 16 de octubre.
