Dear Parents and Guardian,
On October 25th, all 9th – 11th grade students will take the PSAT exam. These tests are part of the College Board Suite of exams that measure college readiness. These exams are an important part of your student’s high school academic experience and their college admission portfolio. Please ensure that your student arrives to school on time as there is no makeup date for the PSAT.
Due to the high-stakes nature of these exams, MAJ Hector P. Garcia High School will be dismissing at all 9th – 11th grade students who do not have extended time testing at 12:30 on Wednesday, October 25th. Students who receive extended time accommodations on testing will be dismissed after their last exam. Bag lunches will be provided to students who wish to take one as they leave the building at 12:30. All 12th grade students will dismiss after they return from their college visits.
